Mission
To empower small and mid-sized nonprofits with accessible, personalized grant writing services that help secure the funding needed to drive lasting social change.
At Change Granted, I partner with nonprofits to unlock the funding that fuels meaningful impact—whether that’s transforming individual lives, strengthening communities, or advancing broader systems change.
I founded Change Granted because I believe nonprofits are essential to creating a more just and equitable world. Yet too often, smaller organizations lack the time, resources, or capacity to pursue competitive grants. My goal is to bridge that gap by offering high-quality, affordable grant writing and strategy services tailored to your unique mission and goals.

What I Offer
Whether you’re pursuing your first grant or building a sustainable funding strategy, I’m here to help. Services include:
Grant Writing
Persuasive, well-researched proposals tailored to each funder and
aligned with your mission and programs.
Grant Prospecting
Targeted research to identify funding opportunities that are the
right fit for your work.
Grant Management & Admin Support
Ongoing or project-based assistance to keep
your grant process is organized and efficient.
Whether you need support on a single application or ongoing strategy and writing, I’ll work alongside your team to craft a thoughtful and competitive approach to grants.
My Approach
At Change Granted, grant writing is more than paperwork—it’s a collaborative, strategic, and mission-driven process.
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all proposals. Instead, I take the time to deeply understand your organization’s mission, values, and voice so your grant applications authentically reflect the heart of your work.
Together, we will:
- Clarify your funding goals and identify the opportunities that align best with your programs and long-term vision
- Tell your story in a way that resonates—with language that honors your impact and speaks the funder’s language
- Build a strategy that balances short-term wins with long-term sustainability
- Strengthen your internal capacity, so grants feel less overwhelming and more achievable
You’ll walk away with more than a compelling proposal—you’ll gain clarity, confidence, and momentum for your fundraising journey.
Accessible Pricing
I believe cost should never be a barrier to strong grant support. I offer sliding-scale fees based on an organization’s capacity. The following rates apply to individual grants and services. If your organization is seeking ongoing grant writing or strategy support, we can discuss a custom arrangement outside of this structure to meet your long-term needs.
- Foundation Grant Proposals: $150 per grant
- Government Grant Proposals: $300 per grant
- Grant Prospecting: $150 per search
- Grant Management/Admin Services: Custom pricing based on scope and needs
Need something different? Let’s talk about a custom package or ongoing partnership.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Do you work with new or small nonprofits?
Absolutely. I love working with new and emerging nonprofits—especially those with big visions and lean teams. If you’re just getting started or have never applied for a grant before, I’ll walk you through the process step by step. Together, we’ll make sure your organization is grant-ready and well-positioned for success.
How long does it take to write a grant?
It depends on the specific grant and its requirements, but on average, I spend about 4 to 6 hours on the actual writing. Government grants typically require more time due to their complexity.
What does grant prospecting entail?
Grant prospecting is more than a quick search—it’s a customized, strategic deep-dive into funders who are the right fit for your work. Here’s what’s included:
- Extensive Research
I comb through Google, grant databases, foundation directories, funder websites, and other publicly available sources. - Customized Grant List
You’ll receive a curated spreadsheet with a minimum of 10–15 well-matched grant opportunities, with no maximum number specified. If fewer than 10-15 grant opportunities are found, a discount is offered.
Your spreadsheet will include:
- Funder name and website
- Funding priorities and typical grant size
- Geographic and programmatic eligibility
- Deadlines and application instructions
- Notes on fit, strategy, and recommended next steps
- Follow-Up Meeting
We’ll schedule a Zoom or phone meeting to review the list together, address your questions, and discuss how to prioritize the most promising leads.
How do payments work?
Invoices are submitted upon delivery of services (e.g., grant draft or prospecting list). Payment is requested within 48 hours, unless we’ve agreed on a different timeline based on your organization’s internal payment process.
Each invoice includes multiple convenient payment options—credit card, bank transfer, or another method that works for you.
How does sliding-scale pricing work?
I offer sliding-scale rates to ensure grant support is accessible for grassroots and under-resourced nonprofits. Pricing is determined in conversation with you, based on your organization’s size, budget, and funding needs. Generally, I try to avoid grants below $75 per grant for newer or smaller nonprofits. Let’s talk about what’s feasible for you.
What kinds of grants do you write?
I specialize in foundation, corporate, and government grants, and I have experience with both program-specific and general operating proposals
Can you help with reports or grant follow-up?
Yes! I provide grant reporting and administrative support, including assistance with interim and final reports, funder updates, and outcome tracking. This can be done on a project basis or as part of a longer-term partnership.
Can we work together long-term?
Yes—I love building ongoing partnerships with organizations. Whether you need monthly support or a strategic grant calendar for the year, I offer custom retainers and multi-grant packages to help you plan and grow sustainably.
